Here is a great recipe from Biltmore Estate!

6 cups French Bread cubes, toasted

2 cups half-and-half

3 large eggs, lightly beaten

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 (15 oz) can pumpkin

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted

1 Tablespoon butter or margarine, melted

2 teaspons pumpking pie spice

1 teaspoon grated orange rind

Place bread cubes in a lightly greased 11 X 7 X 1 1/2 inch baking pan.  Pour half-and-half over bread cubes.  Stir together eggs and next 7 ingredients and gently fold into bread cube mixture.  Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until set.  Serve slightly warm or at room temperature.  Serve with  Ice cream or whipped cream on the top.

Outside, outdoors magazine, has released a list of its top 18 cities that it says are “fit, fun and packed with adventure.”  In the midwest, that is Iowa City and Madison.  Way to go!

Artichoke Dip

1   14 oz can artichoke hearts, drained & chopped

1 Cup Grated Parmesan(or Asiago)

1 Cup Mayonaise

4 oz(1 cup) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Dash Garlic Salt

2 Tblsp Chopped Green Onion

Combine all ingredients.  Bake in 1 1/2 quart casserole or quiche dish.

Serve with crackers or chips.

Congratulations are extended to these past clients.  The Sheffields have a bouncing boy named Caleb added to their family.  Up in Sauk City the Kolniks added Isabell to their family of two boys.  It is great to know that their homes are ready for their growing families!
